Systems make everyday life easier

Have you ever thought about how systems make everyday life easier?

Here are a few ways I use simple systems to stay sane:

The Pantry Reminder

My Reminders app isn’t just for work tasks—I use it to track expiry dates for pantry items. That way, I never find myself opening expired milk or throwing out forgotten food.

The Travel Packing List

Before every trip, I used to get stressed over packing and inevitably maybe forgetting something. Now, I have a reusable packing list that I tweak for every trip—no more panic at the airport.

The Spare Tire Rule

I always keep a spare of essentials like detergent, tissue paper, and even toothpaste. The rule? When I start using the spare, I replace it immediately. This way, I never run out of the basics.

These are small systems, but they free up brain space for the things that matter.

What’s one “everyday system” you use to keep life running smoothly?

In business, especially startups, you rarely have perfect data. If you are waiting for a complete dataset before making a move,
